Alpine A290: Orders open for the new small sports car

Alpine recently opened orders for its new small sports car, the **A290**. This dynamic cousin of the **Renault 5 E-Tech** comes with a higher price tag, but remains affordable for an Alpine. The entry-level version starts at **€34,700**, after deducting a €4,000 government incentive.

A highly anticipated launch

• A month and a half after its unveiling at the **24 Hours of Le Mans**, Alpine officially opened orders for the A290. All trim levels are available, as well as the two power outputs offered: **180 and 220 hp**.
• All versions are equipped with a **52 kWh** battery.

The range includes four different versions.

• A special launch edition, the **”Première Édition”**, is limited to 1,955 units.

Attractive pricing

1. The base version of the **A290**, with a **180 hp** engine, is available from **€34,700** after incentives. It includes features such as 19-inch wheels and adaptive cruise control. This version offers a range of **379 kilometers** in the WLTP combined cycle, comparable to that of the **GT Premium** version, also with 180 hp, priced at **€37,900**.

The most exclusive versions

• The **GT Performance**, **GTS**, and **”Première Édition”** models are equipped with a **220 hp** engine. Their range is **362 kilometers** in the WLTP combined cycle. Each version is distinguished by its exterior styling and specific equipment. For example, the special launch edition features **Nappa leather upholstery**.
