The **Xiaomi SU7**, unveiled in late 2023, is a high-tech electric sedan that rivals the **Tesla Model 3 and S**, the **BYD Seal**, and the **Volkswagen ID.7**. Although the first models are already circulating in China, its availability in France remains uncertain. Presented in an art gallery in Paris, the SU7 embodies Xiaomi’s ambition to become one of the world’s leading brands by 2040.
An ambitious and rapid design
Xiaomi took less than three years to go from concept to production of its first electric car. This speed reflects a desire to position itself among the world leaders in the automotive sector.
- The name **SU7** stands for “Speed Ultra,” and “7” indicates that it targets the higher segments of competitors such as the **BMW 7 Series** and the **Audi A7**. This sedan is anything but a rushed job and appears to be a distillation of the best ideas seen from other manufacturers.

Interior Space and Finish
- Rear passengers have ample legroom, but headroom is limited due to the low roofline and the batteries located under the floor.
- The trunk offers a total volume of 622 liters, combining the 517-liter rear trunk and the 105-liter front trunk. The quality of the finish and materials is more than respectable, with soft-touch or laminated plastics and neat assembly.
Four interior colors are available: white, black, red, and purple.
All exterior colors are free, except for white and black.
