Car battery
For this maintenance, you will need the following: a battery charger and an adjustable wrench. The purpose of the wrench is to loosen the terminal. Locate the battery. The battery’s location can vary; it is most often found in the engine compartment at the front, but in some cases, it may be in the trunk (users should refer to the car’s owner’s manual for more information). Use a wrench (10 mm or 13 mm, depending on the model) to disconnect the negative (-) terminal.
- Connect the charger clamps to the battery terminals, but do not connect the charger to the power supply. Plug the charger into a power source and see if it works.
- The latest generation of electronic chargers can recharge your devices in a fraction of the time it would take with an older charger.
To remove the charger, simply reverse the process you used to connect it.
Note: Be careful not to overcharge the battery, as this can cause permanent damage.
If your device still does not charge after following these instructions, it may be time to replace the battery.
