Subject to numerous impacts and external stresses, the bodywork is one of the components of a vehicle that can become deformed and damaged. Nuts are also essential accessories if you want to repair crumpled fenders of a vehicle. They allow you to reinforce this part of the car after straightening. At this stage, you need to drill holes in the areas you want to reinforce. Then, insert the nuts and screw on metal plates to hold the fender in place. These accessories can be used to replace bumper rivets and screws. For example, some people use rivet nuts to install new bumpers.

They are stronger than other fastening accessories and are recommended for those who don’t want to drill into their bodywork.

You can also use rivet nuts to attach your rocker panels. Rocker panels are generally very popular with drivers who want to personalize their vehicles. Here, the nuts are used to create discreet yet strong attachment points.

The rearview mirror is one of the components you can repair yourself. This solution allows you to save money, as you will no longer need to call a mechanic to solve the problem. If you want to repair your broken rearview mirror, you must identify the problem. This device may be

damaged at the mirror itself, the bracket, or the housing. After identifying the problem, proceed to disassemble the rearview mirror. To do this,

use a flathead screwdriver to detach the part concealing the screws (hold the fixed arm of the mirror). Remove the cap from the control rod to remove the mirror (pull the mirror forward). If your rearview mirror is electric, disconnect the plug or electrical connector that connects it to the rest of the vehicle.

The next step is to repair the device. When the mirror is damaged, it must be removed from the rearview mirror using a flathead screwdriver wrapped in a cloth. To avoid injury, pull gently and carefully. Also, disconnect the defrost wire, if your device has one. Make sure the mounting mechanism of the new mirror is identical to the old one.

. After unscrewing them, use acetone to clean the surface. The final step is to use epoxy glue to seal the various parts of the lens assembly and then wait for it to dry. Finally, you can reassemble the rearview mirror.
