In early July, Audi unveiled the new generation of its A5. This model has a dual mission: to succeed the previous generation and to serve as a transitional model before the A4 goes fully electric. A well-equipped interior

Inside, the entry-level A5 remains elegant despite its simple fabric upholstery. Aluminum-look trim inserts on the dashboard and door panels add a touch of sophistication. The Virtual Cockpit and large central screen, which integrates wireless connectivity, are standard. Furthermore, an inductive smartphone charger, automatic climate control, and a power tailgate are also included as standard equipment.

Performance and engines

Under the hood, the new generation A5 offers a 150-horsepower 2.0 TFSI four-cylinder engine paired with an automatic transmission. A 204-horsepower version is also available for an additional €4,900. For those who prefer diesel, a 150-horsepower 2.0 TDI hybrid version is available starting at €53,600. These engines offer a good compromise between performance and efficiency.
