Suzuki 750 GSXF: an incomparable sport tourer

Within the Suzuki GSXF range, the 750cc model remains the most popular. Featuring a SACS (Suzuki Advanced Cooling System) oil cooling system, this touring motorcycle can cover hundreds of kilometers without the risk of overheating.

Technical specifications of the 750 GSXF: Equipped with a 4-valve-per-cylinder engine, it has a 6-speed gearbox. Capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 or 5 seconds, it can reach a top speed of 215 km/h. With its telescopic fork and monoshock rear suspension, it offers excellent grip on asphalt but struggles on rough roads. In terms of range, with its 20-liter tank and an average fuel consumption of 6 liters per 100 km, the motorcycle can easily travel up to 300 km before refueling. Aside from that, in terms of ergonomics and comfort, its seat isn’t particularly comfortable; however, it’s very pleasant to ride.

The Suzuki GSX-F’s Minor Drawbacks

Even though it’s a motorcycle with several strengths, it’s not perfect. First and foremost, it’s a touring bike. Therefore, it’s not at all suited to aggressive riding. In fact, when it’s traveling at full speed, it becomes difficult to control, even for an experienced rider. So, on this point, you have to accept that it’s a motorcycle designed for leisurely rides, not racing.

Which is better, the GSX-F or the Suzuki Bandit 600?

Even though the Suzuki Bandit 600 is an excellent touring bike, it’s not quite on par with the GSX-F. However, on the market, it has a very serious competitor: the Triumph Street Triple 765. Unlike the Suzuki, it’s easier to handle on the road, especially for less experienced riders. How much does a Suzuki GSXF 750 cost today? Because the GSX 750 did not meet the Euro 3 emissions standard, its production had to cease in 2007. Nevertheless, it remains available on the used market. For a GSXF with less than 50,000 km on the clock, the starting price is around €2,000 to €2,300. However, one with more than 60,000 km can be found for as little as €1,000.
