The vehicle must also have been registered in France for more than 12 months to be eligible for the trade-in bonus.

However, it’s important to note that the bonus amount varies depending on household income. For example, it’s €1,500 for couples whose taxable income does not exceed €1,348 for a new or used Crit’Air 1 vehicle, and €2,500 for the same households if the purchase is for an electric or plug-in hybrid car. These amounts can be doubled for lower-income households.
